Moët Hennessy has named Claire de Coincy as its Chief Human Resources Officer, marking a strategic leadership transition as Paula Fallowfield departs for a senior role at LVMH Americas.

Reflecting on her tenure, Paula says on LinkedIn: "After an unforgettable three and a half years, I am saying a fond farewell to Moët Hennessy - a portfolio of beautiful Maisons and vibrant, dynamic markets. It is a world where heritage and craftsmanship come together with true emotion."

Claire de Coincy will be the new CHRO of Moët Hennessy

Claire brings 15 years of experience from L'Oréal, where she began as a product manager before advancing to human resources officer for L'Oréal Luxe DMI. In that capacity, she developed talent strategies for global brands including Lancôme, YSL beauty and Armani Beauty.

She subsequently served six years as global human resources director of Chloé before moving to LVMH, where she worked across brands such as Thélios, Cheval Blanc and Métiers d'Art to design and implement HR strategy and strengthen employee value propositions.

According to Moët Hennessy's LinkedIn announcement, "Claire brings extensive human resources experience, most recently as CHRO at LVMH Holdings & Other activities. Her leadership will be instrumental in nurturing our culture and developing our people and organisational capabilities to support our long-term goals."

Paula spent more than three years as Executive Vice President (EVP) of Human Resources at Moët Hennessy, having previously held HR leadership positions at Burberry, Natura & Co and Aesop. An internal company announcement seen by Fashion Network indicated that Paula has "led the impactful modernisation of the HR function of Moët Hennessy, by fostering inclusive culture and employee engagement".

On LinkedIn, Paula describes herself as "honoured" to take on the CHRO role for LVMH Americas "with great enthusiasm for what lies ahead" and called Moët Hennessy "truly remarkable." She added: "I am so grateful to have had this wonderful experience based in Paris and I leave with a heart full of memories and relationships that I will hold on to for the future."

Performance during growth period

The leadership change comes as Moët Hennessy experiences expansion. In LVMH's first quarter of 2026, the Wines and Spirits business, led by Moët Hennessy, recorded 5% organic revenue growth.

Key partnerships supported this performance, including Moët & Chandon entering its second season as Official Champagne of Formula 1 Grand Prix races, with particularly strong growth in Europe. According to LVMH, cognac sales increased following Chinese New Year, while Provence rosé wines demonstrated positive momentum.

LVMH's Fashion and Leather Goods business group declined 2% in the first quarter, which the company attributed to conflict in the Middle East.
