Global leadership and strategy trends

As geopolitics and economic disruptions dominate headlines in the business world, global executives are having to continuously find innovative ways to establish communication effectively, from strategising ways to attract new shareholders to new technologies for enhancing overall business operations.

According to JPMorgan’s Business Leaders Outlook for 2026, business leaders now believe that the national economic outlook has stabilised, with a reported 39% of executives surveyed holding an optimistic view.

27% of leaders predict AI will impact both headcount and how information is processed and Tariffs were cited as having a significant effect on operations, with 61% of respondents saying they had a negative impact on business costs.

Despite these concerns, Ginger Chambless, Head of Market Insights at JPMorgan Commercial Banking, says executives are standing their ground and maintaining confidence for the year ahead.

“Despite mixed sentiment on the economic outlook, most business leaders remain confident about the year ahead for their own companies,” she adds. “Navigating macro uncertainty and managing through challenges has become the new normal.”

The CXO Summit will offer a space for executives to strategise ways to navigate uncertain fields like these and share invaluable insight with other like-minded c-suite leaders across all global industries.
