Under CEO Jensen Huang NVIDIA has seen explosive growth, driven by it's position at the forefront of rapidly scaling AI adoption

When CEO Jensen Huang spoke at January’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas he set a bold vision, both for NVIDIA and the AI revolution that the firm’s technology is powering.

Jensen told those in Las Vegas that NVIDIA’s latest round of specialised chips would propel AI into a new phase, delivering “five times the artificial intelligence computing of the firm’s previous tech.

The announcement was one small part of a speech that spoke of his and NVIDIA’s future ambitions, which include autonomous vehicles and new technologies that would contribute to a wider, AI-powered economic shift.

The findings of a new report from Brand Finance exploring the 2026 rankings of the world's most valuable brands show how Jensen’s ambition is advancing NVIDIA.

In the report, the company claims a position in the top five, reflecting the growing pace of global AI use and the company's role at the forefront.

NVIDIA has surpassed social media platforms TikTok and Facebook in brand value, climbing from ninth place in 2025 to fifth place in the 2026 rankings.

The company's value now stands at US$184.3bn, which is US$30.8bn higher than TikTok and US$77.2bn higher than Facebook.

The company also ranks sixth in the Brand Finance 2026 listing of the world's strongest brands.

Charting NVIDIA's rise in the rankings

According to the report, NVIDIA's brand value has more than doubled since 2025, increasing by 110%.

The company established itself as a leading player in AI hardware by selling complete systems whilst other firms were offering individual chips.

Through its Deep GPU Xceleration (DGX) line, NVIDIA developed what could be described as an AI supercomputer in a box.

Beginning as a business centred on 3D gaming graphics, its evolution has been rapid, with it now globally recognised as a leading player in the AI race.

NVIDIA's offerings serve both personal computing systems and large enterprises.

The DGX, for example, enables companies to purchase a ready-made system rather than building one, a process which may require several months.

It also concentrates on DPUs (Data Processing Units) for data centres.

Whilst maintaining its large-scale and operational presence, NVIDIA continues to provide products including graphics cards and gaming cards, delivering a tailored experience to individual consumers.

NVIDIA serves different customer segments at various scales, supporting its expansion, with its emphasis on AI software and hardware providing scope for strategic development.
