IBM and SAP have announced a strategic initiative with Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) to transform the UAE-based company’s operations through SAP’s S/4HANA modernisation programme.

The programme will see IBM Consulting lead the end-to-end digital transformation, including the migration to SAP S/4HANA and the implementation of advanced SAP capabilities across key areas such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing and HR.

The initiative is designed to create a unified, intelligent digital core that will strengthen operational efficiency, enhance regulatory compliance, improve data transparency and increase enterprise agility across all of Julphar’s regional operations.

Julphar will also leverage IBM Consulting’s Advantage – an AI platform designed to streamline workflows –  which combines industry experience and AI-powered systems to help clients accelerate business transformation and deliver measurable results.

IBM and SAP’s partnership
